I am not sure if many of you know but I am getting married this year. I was proposed to on 7/24/2016 in Dominican Republic, Punta Cana. So exciting right!

It was wonderful on the beach! As you can see we had sand every where because I tackled him in the sand. hehehe. I was so excited. And he got me my favorite ring from Robbins Brothers.  Such a dreamer.

Anywho we have been engaged for about 6 months and today we have finally booked a venue. Which I am so happy about. When we first started looking for venues we went to the Villagio the very first venue, and then we went to Lindsey Lakes. Lindsey Lakes was beautiful they had the chapel with the chapel doors and it was just beautiful BUT I just didn't like the pillars in the middle of the reception room. I wanted a open floor plan. So we stopped looking for venues for a while and revisited the Villagio again today. And they had our wedding date available. It made me so happy. I am actually still very excited! Hard to contain myself. lol. My. fiancé and I spoke with Trish she is the owner the venue. She was kind of sassy, but I think she was more straight to the point instead of beating around the bush. Which was awesome. lol. Because paying some one lots of money you don't want fraud happening. (IN MY OPINION). 

We choose The Ultimate Wedding Package: It includes what is listed below. 

The Ultimate   $99/ person (minimum 100 guests) ($109/ person for family style)

Venue with 5 hours event time, 3 hrs set up time, 1 hr break down tables, chairs, satin or pintuck  linens, Trio candles or 10 roses per table centerpieces, waitstaffs, & bartender

Pre-Reception: Fruit, Cheese, and Vegetable Display ;Main Reception:  One entré, 2 sides, bread, salad, and iced tea or punch

So the Villagio has a very open floor plan for the ceremony and reception room.

 

So as you see pretty open floor plan very very nice. And you are able to work with the space given. Has me so excited. We picked 12/31/17 fro our wedding date. We are getting married on New Years Eve! Which has me so excited. I keep saying excited but I really am. Like I get to kiss my husband on  12:00am of 1/1/18 bringing the new year as a family. A wonderful feeling I have. Just sucks to have to pay for it all in one year! yikes. so now its time to budget budget budget! For the biggest new year party of our lives. It will be a day to never forget.
