Hey everybody! Especially my newly engaged couples. Not sure if you heard of bridal shows. But they are very good attend. This is my third and last bridal show to attend. Now it is time to start wedding planning for real. My first bridal show I attended was the David Tuteras bridal show of 2016. That show was cool. It gave me an idea on what to be looking for and what to expect. My best friend was interning at the show. Another reason on why i went. The link to the site is below. Check it out. Rumor has it, that he wont be coming back for 2017 show though. https://moncheribridals.com/wedding-ideas/david-tuteras-bridal-show-unlike-any-other/
The second show I attended was the Houston Wedding show case show. http://houstonweddingshowcase.com/ This show I was expecting to be awesome. I had went back in 2014, with my friend who got married July 3, 2015 and it was a lot of vendors and people there. It was almost over whelming. So I was expecting the same think when I went in October 2016. But it wasn't. I went with my mom and my bestfriend. Kind of feel like I wasted their time and I don't like wasting people time. The only thing good that came from that show is that a won a dj package with 200 dollars worth of uplights, but I didn't have a venue at the time so they wanted to reach back out to me. Do you think that ever happened. HELL NAW.
And the third show was the Bridal Extravaganza. Now when this show came last year I wasn't thinking about it because I didn't have a ring on my finger. And when I came back from being engaged I had the ring, but missed the show because it only comes 2 times a year. Once in January ( the show I went to today) and July (the show I missed).

So the tickets on the day of the show are 20 bucks, the tickets before the show are 15 bucks and if you do the early ticket buying they are 7.50. I wish I had remembered about the show, but I forgot and bought 20 dollar tickets when I got in line. Just lazy I know. They have a lot of raffles which was awesome and a lot more vendors there as well. I think that because I already picked a venue it was a little waste of time, but I got an idea on table décor which was very helpful because my mind was shitless to that. And my fiancé ain't no damn help. And I found another shop I would like to try dresses on at and they have bridesmaids dresses as well. I went to Davids bridal the other day to look for bridesmaids dresses that are affordable, because times is hard. I didn't see anything I liked for real. It was depressing. So I needed other options and I see a lot of couture shops have bridesmaids dresses, but they are 260-300 dollars and that is very high plus getting them altered. I just don't want anybody paying that for my wedding. I originally only wanted to go to 3 stores for bridal gown's(not dress), but another store called La Reve located in Sugarland, Texas has couture dresses and I am all about Couture homie. Lol. Once I pick my dress hopefully at the end of the month you guys will know all about that experience. Just no pictures of course until the big day lol.
Well hope this helps you guys with your wedding hunt!
