Ima Let yall know that today I am trying on dresses. Yes I tried on dresses last week with my best friend, but this time my mother and Godmother will be there, so it might be a little more real to me. IDK! I am nervous because I love this Berta dress which about 10,000 bucks. I am sure I wont be getting that dress or I might just depends if my mother likes it as much as I like it. We will know later. I am nervous. When I tried on dresses for the first time I was like hmmm I really getting married. I don't think it has set in that we really are about to plan a wedding. Maybe because I was waiting on this day for so long and he finally agreed to have a wedding here and I am shocked. Like we have to pay a lot of money by the end of the year. Only 12 damn months. that is not enough time. But If we have planned ahead of time and do things differently. But whatever I need to be grateful that I am getting my wedding. yay! My New Years Wedding actually!
Well first we are going to Impression, which I liked the lady there ever one was sweet. Could have been because they weren't busy. And then Ventura's. I have never been to Venturas but they should be nice since they want people money.
SOOOOOO... I am picking back up where I left off and I FOUND THE DRESS!! YAY!! LOL. ON I/15/2017 I FOUND MY BEAUTIFUL DRESS! I AM SO EXCITED. I can not wait until the dress comes in for my fitting. Then I can see how it really be fitting tight and hugging my curves. LOL. I will keep you posted. Of course no pictures until the big day.
If anyone knows where to get diamond buttons that I can put on the back of my dress it would be a life saver.

Fear of Change
Have you ever been afraid of change?? Like having anxiety about changing the place of work or schools. Are you afraid of jumping out on faith??
Well I currently having that battle right now. I honestly don't know what to do. I have started doing things to be a teacher. I enrolled per say in Texas Teachers. I completed all the pre requisites online, training and stuff. I decided I wanted to teach Social Studies for high school. When it came to study for the test I figured that wouldn't be for me. So I decided on Early Childhood - sixth grade, generalist. Also I wanted to take Special Education exam. I PASSED both exams. YAY!
I have had 2 interviews at Elementary schools in HISD. One was for a 4th grade math teacher which I am nervous about because I am horrible in math and they have to take the STAAR test and what if they don't learn anything because I haven't taught them well. And the other position is for a 2nd teacher. Both schools are looking to hire like immediately. ugh!! But I have never taught in a classroom. I have never been alone with 22 kids at a time. I really want to practice. I have let both employers know that.
I have applied to substitute at several districts. Hoping to get on with Alief ISD, because they start at 52,800 and if I get a SPED position I will get a stipend that will allow me to bring home even more. But both of the interviews I had were for HISD. NOOOO THAT IS NOT WHAT I WANT!!! I have the orientation for subbing on Feb 15. And I have to take a test to see if I qualify for subbing. I am nervous about that because it kind of holds my fate for that district. If I can sub with this district and apply to their jobs and they see that I am active employee with in the district I will be more prone to be hired. If I fail the test and try to apply to the district, I fear that they can see and I wont be hired by the district to be a actual teacher. I think I stress so much. When I just need to take my time and take it step by step. But I cant. That is the anxiety. (frowning face)
Now it is time for me to get a job. I currently work for the state Texas for Children Protective Services. I am trying to find other employment in the school system. But I am afraid of leaving some thing that I have been doing since I graduated college. I have been a CPS worker for 4 years. And now I am switching career fields. All these thoughts have went on in my head. What if I don't like the new job. What if I am not a good teacher. What if I don't like who work with. What if I don't make more money then what I am making now. All of this goes on in my head and it makes me think that I am second guessing my movements. And I am letting the devil let me have doubts about my future.
All I know is that you have to pray about how you feeling and know that if you trust the Lord and let him guide you he wont lead you wrong. Everything will work out. I think I need to trust in the Lord and realize that I can do all things through Christ who strengthen me.
At the end of the day we all have doubts and fears, but we never know if the outcome will be GREAT unless we follow through and put the doubts aside.
Hope this helps someone!

Bella Bridesmaids! Wedding Colors!
So yesterday I found the bridesmaids dresses. I am so excited about it too. At first I wasn't sure of my colors. My fiancé wants to wear a grey suit. https://tuxedo.menswearhouse.com/create-your-look/id/5241
I like the grey suit and of course I want him to be happy on the big day but I wasn't to sure of the colors to go with his suit. So at first l loved plum, but my friend who's wedding I was just in did wine and I felt those colors were similar and then I was like OMG lets do emerald (Hunter green). But not with grey that would be ugly. Right? And then I was like New Years Eve party so my bridesmaids need to be stunning and party like. So I was thinking the sparkle dress that everyone is wearing now a day.
Every one would wear the dress except in a rose gold color. But the dress is 290. The dress is sold at Bella Bridesmaids. https://bellabridesmaids.com/
I wanted an affordable dress but that was still nice. My. bestfriend went with and she was so against the dress, but ended up loving it on. So I told her she can wear the dress we just needed to find another dress for the other girls.
So we continued the hunt. I came across this dress https://bellabridesmaids.com/shop/designer/designer-monique-lhuillier/product/450084/ it would be in green though. And I was like OMG. Everything is working out it is going to be beautiful and I have all my colors as well too. BUT the dress is 360. Who is paying that to be in a person wedding for one darn day. NOBODY. So we had to look again. I was being nosey while these other ladies were trying on dress and came across the green dress. It isn't as dark of a green that I would prefer, but it is green none the less. (So I cant find the picture) UGH.
But it is green and is off the shoulder. It isn't the chiffon material and it is nice and but not body con type either. It makes me happy that I have found something I am happy about. And hopefully the girls will comfortable as well.
I do plan on looking for a green dress that may-be cheaper then 240. I am going to two more dress shops this weekend to find my dress and I plan on browsing the bridesmaids section to see if anything else catches my eye. If so we may have another option. But one thing for sure WE HAVE OUR WEDDING COLORS!

Bridal EXTRAVAGANZA Houston, Texas January 7, 2017
Hey everybody! Especially my newly engaged couples. Not sure if you heard of bridal shows. But they are very good attend. This is my third and last bridal show to attend. Now it is time to start wedding planning for real. My first bridal show I attended was the David Tuteras bridal show of 2016. That show was cool. It gave me an idea on what to be looking for and what to expect. My best friend was interning at the show. Another reason on why i went. The link to the site is below. Check it out. Rumor has it, that he wont be coming back for 2017 show though. https://moncheribridals.com/wedding-ideas/david-tuteras-bridal-show-unlike-any-other/
The second show I attended was the Houston Wedding show case show. http://houstonweddingshowcase.com/ This show I was expecting to be awesome. I had went back in 2014, with my friend who got married July 3, 2015 and it was a lot of vendors and people there. It was almost over whelming. So I was expecting the same think when I went in October 2016. But it wasn't. I went with my mom and my bestfriend. Kind of feel like I wasted their time and I don't like wasting people time. The only thing good that came from that show is that a won a dj package with 200 dollars worth of uplights, but I didn't have a venue at the time so they wanted to reach back out to me. Do you think that ever happened. HELL NAW.
And the third show was the Bridal Extravaganza. Now when this show came last year I wasn't thinking about it because I didn't have a ring on my finger. And when I came back from being engaged I had the ring, but missed the show because it only comes 2 times a year. Once in January ( the show I went to today) and July (the show I missed).
http://www.bridalextravaganzashow.com/
So the tickets on the day of the show are 20 bucks, the tickets before the show are 15 bucks and if you do the early ticket buying they are 7.50. I wish I had remembered about the show, but I forgot and bought 20 dollar tickets when I got in line. Just lazy I know. They have a lot of raffles which was awesome and a lot more vendors there as well. I think that because I already picked a venue it was a little waste of time, but I got an idea on table décor which was very helpful because my mind was shitless to that. And my fiancé ain't no damn help. And I found another shop I would like to try dresses on at and they have bridesmaids dresses as well. I went to Davids bridal the other day to look for bridesmaids dresses that are affordable, because times is hard. I didn't see anything I liked for real. It was depressing. So I needed other options and I see a lot of couture shops have bridesmaids dresses, but they are 260-300 dollars and that is very high plus getting them altered. I just don't want anybody paying that for my wedding. I originally only wanted to go to 3 stores for bridal gown's(not dress), but another store called La Reve located in Sugarland, Texas has couture dresses and I am all about Couture homie. Lol. Once I pick my dress hopefully at the end of the month you guys will know all about that experience. Just no pictures of course until the big day lol.
Well hope this helps you guys with your wedding hunt!

WEDDING VENUE THE VILLAGIO HOUSTON, TEXAS
*The Villagio Houston, Texas Wedding Venue *
I am not sure if many of you know but I am getting married this year. I was proposed to on 7/24/2016 in Dominican Republic, Punta Cana. So exciting right!
It was wonderful on the beach! As you can see we had sand every where because I tackled him in the sand. hehehe. I was so excited. And he got me my favorite ring from Robbins Brothers. Such a dreamer.
Anywho we have been engaged for about 6 months and today we have finally booked a venue. Which I am so happy about. When we first started looking for venues we went to the Villagio the very first venue, and then we went to Lindsey Lakes. Lindsey Lakes was beautiful they had the chapel with the chapel doors and it was just beautiful BUT I just didn't like the pillars in the middle of the reception room. I wanted a open floor plan. So we stopped looking for venues for a while and revisited the Villagio again today. And they had our wedding date available. It made me so happy. I am actually still very excited! Hard to contain myself. lol. My. fiancé and I spoke with Trish she is the owner the venue. She was kind of sassy, but I think she was more straight to the point instead of beating around the bush. Which was awesome. lol. Because paying some one lots of money you don't want fraud happening. (IN MY OPINION).
We choose The Ultimate Wedding Package: It includes what is listed below.
The Ultimate $99/ person (minimum 100 guests) ($109/ person for family style)
Venue with 5 hours event time, 3 hrs set up time, 1 hr break down tables, chairs, satin or pintuck linens, Trio candles or 10 roses per table centerpieces, waitstaffs, & bartender
Pre-Reception: Fruit, Cheese, and Vegetable Display ;Main Reception: One entré, 2 sides, bread, salad, and iced tea or punch
3 or 4 tier buttercream wedding cake of any flavor or designFive hour non-alcoholic beverages (tea or punch, coke, sprite, diet coke, water)
Fine China, flatware, & stemware for dinner

So the Villagio has a very open floor plan for the ceremony and reception room.
So as you see pretty open floor plan very very nice. And you are able to work with the space given. Has me so excited. We picked 12/31/17 fro our wedding date. We are getting married on New Years Eve! Which has me so excited. I keep saying excited but I really am. Like I get to kiss my husband on 12:00am of 1/1/18 bringing the new year as a family. A wonderful feeling I have. Just sucks to have to pay for it all in one year! yikes. so now its time to budget budget budget! For the biggest new year party of our lives. It will be a day to never forget.
Just wanted to show you guys my wonderful wedding venue. Hope this may help some of the Houston, Texas upcoming wedding couples.

BooHoo Clothing
BOOHOO CLOTHING
So how many of you guys have heard of BooHoo?!
https://www.boohoo.com/
Well not until 12-10-2015 I was introduced to the site. I used to shop at forever 21 faithfully, but now they just don't cut it for me. So I tried this little site out. Honestly they are pretty good. They have 50% off sales on like everything almost every day. And so when I see the sale's and one or two items I like I go a little crazy shopping. I am really a dress wearer because you can dress it down or up. Wear it with boots, heels and sandals. And having a toddler I need clothing that I can wear multiple ways. lol.
These are some of the items I have purchased recently.
My older stuff I ordered from the site to me seems like it was made out of better quality then the new things I have received. The new items are sheer, they did not come with the slip under the dress. So if the sun is shining bright you will see right through it. How is that a good thing?? Everybody seeing my "blessings" .
I will post the older things down below.
Pros about BooHoo
- Very affordable (50% off)
- Cute fashion pieces
- Nobody will ever have your items (Hopefully)
- AND now you can return in United States of America
Cons about BooHOO
- Shipping is still coming from the UK so it will take a while to get to you
- If you have a question about your order you have to email, unless you can call international. (you the real MVP)
- Well there isn't a 3 because now returning in US is possible. yay! (Return address below) You welcome!

Bossette Brazilian Hair
Bossette Brazilian Hair
Hey everyone! Hope you had a good week. I am writing to you about bundled hair. So I have been wearing weaves (sew-ins) whatever you want to call them since I was in highschool. Prom 2008 to be exact. I was 17 yrs old for my first weave. I wish I had a picture to show you. Any who forward 8-9 years later and I am still wearing weaves! Aren't they awesome. I went from regular sew in, to closure and I finally tried my first frontal.
This is me with my hair freshly done. Do you guys like it? Well I do. It just is very high maintenance and if you cant keep it up don't waste your money on this. So it only last for about 2 weeks to a month. It can be glued down, or held with tape. Mine is glued down and honestly I prefer the glue. A lot of people complain about their edges coming out, but if you remove the frontal with 91% alcohol, and wait until the frontal rises up your edges will still be intact. From what I heard. (I WILL POST MY REMOVAL OF THE FRONTAL AND EVEN TRY TO RECORD IT FOR YOUTUBE!) Ok so now on to my hair (the bundles)
So I have shopped at different vendors before Ali express (KBL) and like 2 other vendors. I have ordered hair from diamond dynasty ( I think this was my best hair), and now the hair I have currently is BOSSETTE HAIR. (Vendor is Houston. texas) Now first off the hair was great Felt great, wasn't shedding and the frontal is wonderful! BUT now having my hair done for about 3 weeks the hair shedding like crazy. I am not sure if it because glue is coming up on my hair and the frontal cant take it or if the actual hair sewn in is shedding. Who knows, but it is a lot. ( I didn't think about taking a picture) Sorry. Oh and the hair knotted up while in a pony tail. I referred my friend to get this hair and she had on a shirt the button at the back. her hair was knotted all around the button we had to cut it out. And then I wore a shirt with a button on it like a dummy and it did the exact same thing. smh. SOOOOOO. I ma not to pleased with that I am getting from this hair thus far. And it has only been 2 weeks. December 13, 2016.
I paid about 350 for the hair which is very reasonable now a days. I wouldn't mind paying that again, but not for hair that sheds this much its crazy. Maybe I can post it on youtube. Food for thought. lol.
DISCLAIMER: I AM NOT SURE IF THE HAIR IS DOING THIS OR THE FRONTAL. AND REMEBER MY FRONTAL IS GLUED IN SO IT CAN BE CAUSING SOME OF THE SHEDDING AS WELL. I AM NOT SURE. ITS ONLY BEEN 2 WEEKS.
anywho thanks for reading guys!
